About ViewMock
ViewMock turns one website mockup or design image into a link your recipient can open in a browser. It is useful for reviewing a page layout, a long design or a static visual without sending a large attachment.
Share a design
- Choose a JPG, PNG or static WebP on the upload page. The displayed file limit applies.
- If access should require a password, set one before creating the link. Share the password through a separate trusted channel.
- Create the link and send it to your recipient. Keep your own original file.
What your recipient sees
The preview contains only the image, fitted to the browser width, with no advertising or promotional elements. Tall images scroll naturally. ViewMock preserves the accepted original bytes, dimensions, transparency and color information rather than resizing or recompressing your upload. The browser may scale the display to fit its window.
Choose the right workflow
Use a preview link for a static design review. It is not an interactive prototype, comment thread or permanent archive. An activated image and its password cannot be replaced. To share a revision, create a new link and make clear which version your recipient should review.
About these guides
The ViewMock project maintains the design sharing guides alongside the application. They use original fictional artwork and screenshots of real, isolated upload tests, not customer files or invented testimonials. Each guide explains a different task: briefing a review, creating an image link, or checking password access. Examples do not demonstrate interactive website behavior or guarantee confidentiality.
Share thoughtfully
Anyone with an unprotected link can view it. Password protection limits access but cannot prevent an authorized recipient from saving a copy. Check your image and its embedded metadata before sharing. Links expire under their saved maximum and inactivity limits; keep an independent original for future work.
